ABOUT THE ARTWORK

In my painting, I've captured a quiet moment of escape amidst the urban backdrop. With bold strokes and rich colors, I've permeated the canvas with warmth and solitude. A lone boy and his loyal canine companion tread the line between the static architecture and the dynamic life within, reminding us of the silent stories embedded in every city corner. This piece invites contemplation and a nuanced appreciation for fleeting, everyday scenes, adding a layer of depth and introspection to any space it inhabits. This little dog pulling his master on a skate board was seen outside our Forest Hills apartment in New York. The painting will be sent in a box ready to hang with a certificate of authenticity.

. My recent paintings and photographs of Parisian, Veinnese and New York everyday life are inspired by the many summers and winters we have lived in the cities. I truly believe thet art is the highest form of hope. Jo Tuck's works are in private collections around the world and regularly participates in shows in New York, Caelum Gallery, and London. , including Christie's Cancer benefit show and the RA Summer shows Her background is film editing until she became a full-time painter and photographer. While she was at college she made two 16mm short films, one on the Australian Aboriginal Women and another on Sheep farming in Wales. After film editing for the BBC and feature films I took up painting and photography full time. My photojournalism is inspired by Henri Cartier-Bresson, Walker Evans, Eugene Atget, and Robert Frank .
