Night Goddess Painting

The moth is a common theme in my work. It is probably worth telling why. The fact is that moths are the object of my phobia. They scare me to death and there is no logic here. About 6 years ago I turned to a psychotherapist because the phobia entered a dangerous phase and my life in the warm season became simply unbearable. The psychotherapist helped me a lot, and it really became much easier for me. I still do not like moths. If one flies around the room next to me, I will definitely try to kill it. However, psychotherapeutic influence opened something inside of me. At some point, I came to the conclusion that there is a lot in common between me and a moth. Since Death is the main subject of my creative research, I cannot help but note that the Moth is one of the symbols of Death. It is believed that you can find the entrance to the world of the dead if you follow the moth. The Moth is a real symbol of the Night Goddess, gentle but domineering. Beautiful but creepy. The mistress of all haunted houses, the Queen of the Night, and children who died in infancy are her faithful companions.
