detail of artwork
Part of a series of 4 small artworks on paper.

I used acrylic colour and pigment.

The works are actually brighter than on the photograph. The "dots" are cobalt turqouise so the colour moves more towards greenish than blue.

Best you can see the cobalt turqouise on the photographs of the artwork, Night Sky II. There it is resembled the best.

The works in inches are 5.9 x 5.9

I sell them with a beautiful 2,6 mm deep mat so that the size with the mat is 30 x 30 cm which equals 11.8 x 11.8 inches.

The frame is just an example, it is not included in the price.

Please contact me through Saatchi if you are interested in buying all 4 of them so I can give you a reduced rate.

Delivery Time:

ARTIST STATEMENT: Life is a largely subjective experience; but that subjective experience is my bridge to the objective world. And it’s this synthesis of the two that I am trying to capture. INSPIRATION AND PROCESS: I love experimenting and want to give my works an individual expression. I have two lines of work: I love painting almost (but not quite) realistic, somewhat utopian, nature images and on the other hand I really enjoy doing non-objective/abstract art. I am inspired by the beauty and power of natural phenomena, the mystery of nature, its colors and forms. Every painting is a one-of-a-kind work in which I try to combine feeling and thought. I work most of the time with acrylics but I also mix acrylics with other media such as oil pastel, soft pastel, spray paint, graphite and charcoal or ink. All materials I use, if canvas, paper or paints are of artist quality.
