"Night Talk" Print

My work is mostly related to still life motif, focused on figurative composition and colour inherited from tradition of masters of colourful painting. I find inspiration in so called “ordinary objects” as well as small sentimental memorabilia that surround me. By combining these two, I capture them in time telling a story to the viewer. Using technique of layered oil paint on canvas, there are visible brush movements that gradually build picture composition by adding objects and rhythm. Playing with line and colour, and by combining personal inner experience, I create a world in which dream becomes a part of real life. I am a member of Croatian Association of Fine Artists and Likum.
