About The Artwork
"Night guest" is a throwback from memory in the studio. Behind the portrait of the girl with slitted eyes was the memory of that night. The style is realist mosaic abstraction and surrealism. He worked hard on primed on double impregnated pressboard synthetic varnish in order to gain its resistance to weather. The paints are oil, and relief is achieved a layering of paint. The picture was painted in two stages - in 1985 and 1998.
