ABOUT THE ARTWORK
A soft light half day, half night... Tuscia is a "magical" area not far from Rome, rich in history and nature. It is full of positive energy. It often happens that my worries disappear as soon as I get there. ATTENTION PLEASE: it’s very difficult to catch real colors, details and atmosphere of the artworks with one picture only and for this reason I prefer to provide multiple references whenever possible. So, by scrolling, you can find the close up of the image and some photos with different backgrounds. I also choose to take a picture of my artworks with an element (a brush) that helps with the proportions. The artworks are glazed with a breathable varnish. It is better to apply the final sealing varnish starting one year after its completion. In this case the final varnish can be applied starting from December 2024. Thank you, Anna

I find the most intense expression of myself in the study of landscapes. Landscapes are my bridge between emotions and reality. I use landscapes in order to investigate human nature and convert feelings into something real and concrete. Everyone can identify himself in an emotion, in an atmosphere told in the narrative of a landscape. I always try to bring out the soul and the emotion from a portrait or from a close up of small things that catches my attention. I like to focus my curiosity on apparently insignificant details. And I strongly like to make people dream with me, opening gates and showing the world in the way I can see it. I’m also a great supporter of figurative art and ancient painting techniques. I use to copy old Masters’ paintings and drawings in order to stay connected with the roots of the art itself and the spirit and teachings of the great painters of the past.
