I have taken a clear desicion : My paintings should be a carrier of hope. How does an artist handle the unpleasantness the world sometimes brings? Showing it is one possibility or making it even more unpleasant than it is. Instead, I decided to show beauty and hope. My painting is inspired by the songtext ( songwriter Prince Rogers Nelson ) „nothing compares to you“, singer Sinéad O’ Connor. „...Since you been gone I can do whatever I want I can see whomever I choose I can eat my dinner in a fancy restaurant But nothing I said nothing can take away these blues 'Cause nothing compares Nothing compares to you...“ The artwork is an expressive painting (acrylics, ink, gold spray, spray paint, colored pencils, pastels, neon color) on high quality canvas.
