November Painting

I am an American abstract painter. Every so often I veer into expressionist representation and portraiture. On my own, I studied the fundamentals of art, the great artists, and all the many art movements. I am influenced by Abstract Expressionism, German Expressionism, French Impressionism, and the European Moderns. Part of the joy I find in painting is to participate in a creative dialogue with other artists. My mission is to make engaging and innovative artworks. I also hope to extend an appreciation of artistic creativity to a wide audience. The process I employ involves acrylic and mixed media. Paint and found material are combined on canvas, and I love to merge drawing with painting whenever possible. Many of my original paintings are found in private collections across North America, Europe, and Asia. I am also fortunate to exhibit with regional art galleries. A Certificate of Authenticity ships with each painting, along with background information about the making of the piece. All the work you see is available.
