ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The inspiration for Now is The Winter of Our Discontent, from Richard 111 and Steinbeck's novel The Winter of Discontent. I look out over the Hudson River during my morning coffee on the rooftop where I work. I imagine this rich orange Sunset. At the same time, I can see a wonderful moon rise over the Atlantic Ocean during what is perhaps a noreaster approaching New York City. All this swirls around in my head as I franticly wait to finish my day job to get to my studio and paint this excellent emotional vision. Enjoy!
