Some are very simple objects or landscape which struck her. Though she works quite deliberately, consciously employing traditional techniques, her unconscious mind seems to be the undisputed project manager where it sends signals to a profusion of experimentation thumb lines. Taking Gauguin, Rousseau, Klimt and other masters as the preferred masters to look upon, with the contingency of their flair melting in the pot where colours, textures, techniques all play elbows to influence her. She dwelves in a profusion of bright and subdued colours all remnicent of our changing moods as we see the world pass by. With roots lost in centuries to claim her descent, she tries to retrace this ancestry by memories of her childhood she tries to find her way in a search for a global weave of commiseration and buoyancy of life. She finds that we that our contemporary lives are lacking in symbolic landmarks, points of contact between the personal, cultural, and communal sense of place. Where their art provides a library of experiences, images, pretending forms and colours as a gathering place to showcase human emotions at a crossroad of cultures, connections, and ideas- historically and culturally bound.
