I was born in Elda (Alicante) in 1968. From an early age, I always showed a great inclination for drawing and painting in its various techniques. Initially my training was self-taught until in 2005 I decided to continue my artistic career through the path of realism and figuration, with special emphasis on portraiture. Recently, my work has taken a turn towards Impressionism, Expressionism and intuitive painting, occasionally touching the abstraction with greater use of the primary stroke and abundance of color. My recent work is the fruit of a whole process of evolution and change that has meant both in my life and in my work a true catharsis. It has turned out to be the artistic maturation I was waiting for. I was working in hyperrealistic painting and portrait until, after a moment, I decided to leave my comfort zone to experience new paths, new techniques and new artistic approaches. This need has already begun to be revealed in my previous work on fire parties, faults and bonfires and is in the project "Flower in bloom" in which it has consolidated. At this moment I find myself crossing the line between figuration and abstraction constantly and I have discovered that I feel very comfortable in that place, I suppose that it is nothing more than the reflection of the very duality with which I live daily as I dedicate my life to Activities. The floral theme emerges spontaneously, almost unintentionally. After so many years painting, I know that when an issue arises I must let myself be carried by it. Thus, it has matured both technically and visually and has also been modifying my way of looking at life. At this moment, fruit of all that reflection, I can say that my work is the representation of love, truth, life and death. Each work is an act of reconciliation between nature and life and the human being. In this attempt to conciliate I have used beauty as the creator of consciousness, in this case the beauty of the inexhaustible wealth of visual splendor and vital intensity of flowers. I have given freedom to my brushstrokes and I have also incorporated it into my use of color. This has made me realize that people need to feel that freedom in their own lives, which has made my painting an edifying act. I have been fortunate to leave in search of artistic freedom and along the way have found artistic happiness.
