Most of my subjects are caught in the process of using their devices, exhibiting blank stares and bored expressions. My generation sees the world through a computer screen. I reference this by suggesting pixels in my figures as well as painting the background a solid glossy black that provides a reflective surface that is reminiscent of an in-active computer screen.
