Creativity has been my lifelong companion. Born and raised in Northern California by my loving English mother and a free-spirited, often absent father, I found early solace in drawing. What began as simple stick figures gradually evolved into detailed sketches of horses, cityscapes, and everyday life—my way of making sense of the world around me. After high school, I was accepted into an art college in London, but practicality led me down a different path. I pursued nursing and found deep fulfillment in caring for others. Yet, the emotional demands of the profession eventually took their toll. It was then that I returned to art—not as a pastime, but as therapy, as medicine for the soul. Painting became my sanctuary. Acrylics, inks, and metallics replaced medical charts and patient rounds. My tools expanded to include molding paste and a small spray gun, unlocking a new dimension of creative expression. I found joy in textures, movement, and the bold unpredictability of color. The work I create now is a reflection of both freedom and healing—a return to that childlike wonder where imagination knew no boundaries. Through abstract compositions, cosmic themes, and tactile surfaces, I aim to evoke emotion, curiosity, and connection. My pieces often blend elements of nature, space, decay, and rebirth—offering viewers not just something to look at, but something to feel. Art has given me back a part of myself I thought I had lost. I hope my work speaks to your imagination as much as it has reawakened mine. Thank you for joining me on this journey.
