Mounted under passepartout (mat) with back cover
I have the privilege of a view, cloud formations, unbelievable sunsets and colors amaze me through the year. It's a feast to my eyes and a constant source of inspiration, because all impossible colors and misterious shadows are there for us to enjoy in total freedom.
[In fact September 2019 is my solo show called Eyes up]
The oil colours I used to paint this artwork are: french ultramarine, burnt umber, cadmium red, cerulean blue, lemon yellow, zinc white. A hint: It goes slightly more towards cerulean blue hue than ultramarine. It's a bright, happy blue, well balanced by the cromatic composition.
Winsor & Newton Artists oils on Canson Figueras paper, 290grs./sqmt. Actual painted area 5" 7/8" x 8" 2/8 mounted under archival ivory passe partout (mat) with back cover, totally protected. 2" 3/8 width mat, total 10.35" x 13".
Since the support is paper, my advice is to mount it under HD glass or similar. I love this piece and hope you love it too.

Myriam O is a multi talented artist of Chilean, Turkish, Portuguese and German descent, painter, performer and writer. Her fondest childhood memories are those of attending the opera and turning the pages of art and museum books. She is a passionate interpreter of jazz standards and Latin songs, then, painting was kept somewhat on hold, however greatly missed for in painting she finds a much-sought world of silence. Thus, she decided to devote herself equally to both disciplines, a decision she has never regretted for her artistic endeavour became more fulfilling and complete. Her paintings are in private collections in Chile, UK, USA, Denmark, Malta and France. In 2015-16, she was selected to participate in non-commercial biennale The Mdina Cathedral Contemporary Art Biennale, in Malta, representing her natal country. Also in Malta, and invited by CARAVAN —non profit organization focused in peace building through the Arts between the creeds and cultures of the East and West— she participated in the exhibition "Mediterranean Peace Donkey". She was then welcomed by Raven Art Society gallery and later by Johnson's Gallery both in Battersea, London UK. She used to take part in selected collective exhibitions while living in Chile. “I am a sentimental artist. When painting, blending what I see, how I feel and what I want is mostly a spiritual experience, a prayer in solitude, lovingly and joyfully carried. I feel painting is a journey through the longings of the heart and the windmills of the mind, just as life itself. Oil remains my preferred medium; it is romantic, melancholy and infinite. And yet, I'm not afraid of experiencing other media such as collage or even going digital, for the images I see in my mind seek to be brought to reality in different ways". “Since Oct. 2019 when riots, looting and charring stroke Chile, I became a columnist for a digital women's magazine and a newspaper. I took the chance to illustrate some of my columns with collage artworks.
