Danish visual artist, based in Copenhagen. Working internationally, with city landscapes of New York, Berlin and Copenhagen and modern still life. JONNA PEDERSEN works in media such as paintings, drawings, collages. Pedersen was educated at Bjorn Ignatius Oeckenholts School of Visual Arts Copenhagen; Ealing Art College in London. Since 2005 her art works have been admitted at 9 juried exhibitions in Denmark and she has received 2 Honorable Awards at juried exhibitions abroad. Pedersens works are featured in several books, ie "Dokumentar" by Trine Ross and Bente Jensen,"The breadth of reality. Jonna Pedersen and Painting" by Ole Lindboe. She has exhibited at shows in New York, Berlin, Barcelona and Amsterdam apart from Copenhagen and throughout Denmark. She has received working grants from The Danish Art Foundation, The Danish Art Council, Hielmstierne-Rosencroneske Foundation as well as travel grants from the Toyota Foundation and the Oticon Foundation.
