• One-Stop Shop • Painting

• Historically, the 1st U.S. One-Stop Shop started in 1922 near KansasCity, Missouri. Then the 1st enclosed mall opened in 1956 in Edina, Minnesota. And megamalls started to sprout in the country in the 80s. • In abstract paintings, the One-Stop Shop formula is used when an artist puts together a variety of different images in harmony like a united family. • As a contemporary art liver ( liver?), you’ll see a group of at least 10 co-ordinated images. Follow me clockwise. (1) Slightly after 12 o’clock at the top is my left forefinger showing the eyes and ear of a little girl dressed in brown, who covers her mouth with her right arm. 2) And as you look oldaweh down to the bottom at 6 o’clock, you would have noticed at least 6 different beige faces. 3) At the left-bottom corner, you’ll recognize what looks like a trinket-laden shoulder of the abstract’s main character, featured at center. 4) At 9 o’clock, I showed the side-view of a brown-haired little guy looking southeast with his right eye. 5) And if you want to see what the main character’s brain looks like, I used a reduced bear’s body to make it the forefront of the character’s Y-shaped head. • That’s it for my “One-Stop Shop” abstract.
