the work is part of the "Just Raise ..." project, which has a series of 10 representative works. The main topic is the middle finger lifting gesture and under what conditions it is used. Having a history of meanings that have evolved over time. From one civilization to another, semiotics with the middle finger is speculative. But hundreds of years ago, the gesture lifting the middle finger had another meaning. Prior to the Battle of Agincourt (1415) during the 100-year war, the French, anticipating the victory of the lord over England, decided to cut their finger among all soldiers taken prisoners. That's because he does not have the middle finger it will be impossible for them to shoot with long bow and so on he will take part in any future struggle. This English renowned arch was made of the wood of a typical British tree called Yew. Shoot Suddenly with this bow was known as the "odd of yew" (or "betray yew") the French surprise, the English turned the fate of the fight, and the French lost, and the English soldiers bombarded them by pointing their middle finger they wanted to cut them off and say, "You see, we can still shoot with the bow!" ("See, we can still get yew "). Although the bow is no longer used today, the sign should be removed from the collection of abominable, obscene objects, leaving them to be just a finger.
