ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Original oil, acrylic on canvas large landscape painting stretched on a wooden frame. The pre-Appalachian landscape of the Eastern United States inspired the painting. I was trying to capture early Summer's colors, light, and air in the Countryside. There is no drama, no suspense. There is no trilling action, no nail baiting cliffhangers. Just clean summer breeze and light without a shadow. Wonderful summer day. A Painting About Nothing My abstract summertime landscape painting is a visual representation and an emotional journey. It invites viewers to rekindle their connections with the beauty and tranquility of nature. The master-quality material has been used. Using oil over the acrylic technique allows for achieving the brightness of colors and richness of texture. Edges of the painting are covered with archival white linen tape for a clean contemporary look. I just wanted to let you know that framing is unnecessary. It is ready to hang. It is signed on the front. A Certificate of Authenticity is included. "Please contact curator@saatchiart.com for more details."

" In general, my paintings are skirting the boundary line between representation and pure abstraction. Color, form, gesture, and physicality of paint - all of them are the subjects of main interest and great importance. Almost all paintings have been inspired by the landscape. Behind every abstract composition is a particular place in a particular time and in a specific atmospheric condition."
