Our Friend in a Dinghy Painting

Whilst at anchor in Cawsand bay (UK Cornwall) we were visited by Nick in his home made dinghy (a Teal). We had freshly caught Mackerel for breakfast and I got this shot of him as he rowed of back to his Boat. My "Paint-ograph" is an acrylic painting on to a printed photograph. The paper is 350gsm watercolour paper (A3+, 42.9x30.5cm) The image has a wide margin around it. There is nothing on the margin of relevance and you can have it cut to size, if and as you want. initialed and dated with the year on the face signed in graphite (pencil) on the back. I have been blurring the lines between Photography and other mediums for a long time. The photograph is my starting point, I'm interested in what one can do to it, how can it be transformed and into what? I like to chose "real life" subjects from my photo-diary; friends, places I've been to, things I've seen and done.
