This sketch depicts the Upper Neuvinsky pond. Verh-Neivinsky pond was created in 1764, on the Neiva River. It is located at a distance of about 70 km from Yekaterinburg. In the southern part, it merges with Lake Tavatui, which is a real pearl of the Urals. The surrounding area is mountainous and taiga. On all sides, the pond is surrounded by forests and mountain peaks. All this makes this place extremely picturesque. Gulls fly by the Upper Neuvinsky pond, frogs are found here, and ducks swim. Fishermen come here for roach, perch, bream, ruff, pike, burbot and other fish. Verh-Neivinsky Pond is distinguished by a large number of islands. From the smallest, often hiding under water, to very large ones. The largest island – Yelnichny reaches 1.5 km. There are also many bays, each of which has its own name. For example, the bay of Verevkin Corner. The work is made on thick paper with watercolors. The picture needs a frame with glass.
