ABOUT THE ARTWORK
With this project I intend to take a scientific term 'Allotropy' for overturning in a work of art that puts the limit the essence of painting, photography and digital art. I raised a parallelism on the transformation of the image of women in the social imaginary. This have a common factor: the microscope as a tool of cohesion. This artwork is from the digital manipulation of a portrait and a microscopic photograph of the pictorial matter. In a sense, this first bit image is transformed when it is transferred to an acetate by means of a procedure artisanal. The final work is unique and unrepeatable because it has this component manual.
