About The Artwork

Size 70 x 60 cm (27.56“ x 23.62”) Plein air painting made in the beautiful Schönbrunn Park in Vienna. Build in 1882 the “Palmenhaus” greenhouse was the last of its type to be constructed in continental Europe. The canvas board is a bit damage on the bottom (approx. 1x1 cm) but it can be easily hidden by a frame

Born in Paris area in 1976, Harold Aupetit began painting in his Parisian studio for more than twenty years. He currently lives in Austria, in Mödling where he spends many hours dedicated to the creation of his works. He finds inspirations mainly from nature or through people, places of his neighborhood. The cozy atmosphere of Viennese coffee houses, the Austrian’s colorful landscape; graceful moments of life, his realistic style relate a poetic atmosphere where color harmony invites to tranquility.
