Palmyra Painting

Bulls in an arena , balancing a glass ball between their horns . In the glass-bulb the world behind the bull is showing upside down and left and right swapped places . When starting to paint , I intended the bulls carrying a globe , but most of the time the original idea alters slowly but sure . The wild mountains in the background changed into wild clouds and the palmtree changed into curled figtrees . Two magpies are suspicious to what the bull is up to . They don't know and nor do I .A red and white cat is hiding behind the pilar left ,attracted by the magpies . It creates tension in the foreground . The bulls are, with there wild behavior, turning the world upside -down .The cat stands for the "notting -is-wrong-attitude" ,sitting by the fire with the cat on your lap ,and the magpies are waiting for the left-overs Note : this work is under restoration ,when the work is done it will enter again .
