Story - The painting "Paris Motor Show 1926" captures the exciting atmosphere of the Grand Palais in the heart of Paris, where car enthusiasts, manufacturers and innovators from all over the world gathered. There is an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation in the hall, with all eyes on the innovative cars on display at this prestigious event. Visitors walk among luxury cars while engineers and designers present the latest technological and design advances. The exhibition is full of murmuring voices as elegant ladies and distinguished gentlemen admire the beauty and performance of the cars on display. The air is filled with the smells of new leather, the smell of oil and gasoline, the glint of shiny metal and the sounds of engines. Spectators immerse themselves in the world of technical progress and elegance. It is a story of encountering innovation, hopes and dreams that radiate from every car in this magnificent showroom at that moment. The Paris Motor Show of 1926 becomes a symbol of the time when cars became more than just a means of transport - they became icons of freedom, luxury and speed.

My name is Marie Baboučková. I am a contemporary Czech painter, self-taught, born and living in České Budějovice, Czech Republic, Europe. For most of my life, I did not paint because many interests took me in other directions, such as beekeeping. In 2018, a life event, an accident, led me to self-study painting. I started with acrylic paints, but oil paints revolutionized my artwork. At first the styles cubism, surrealism and realism had the greatest influence on me, but I do not resist trying new styles and often combine them. For me, emotions, dreams, fantasy and respect for certain phases of history are a palette of colors that allow me to transfer indescribable moments of energy, movement and passion into my art. Despite the problems of today, I am an eternal optimist, which I hope is reflected in my paintings. Recently, I have been working on different styles in order to create the most original works that will appeal and inspire those who encounter them. I create proposals for paintings mainly on a graphic tablet, sometimes also in virtual reality. My web site:
