Paris, the story of the painting Belgian premium linen fabric, acrylic painting with Australian pigments for some colors and oil for metallic colors. The background is Midnight blue, it is a color that I chose as it fits perfectly to show Paris by night.. The Seine is represented by pigment “Australian blue sky”, it is a purified blue to represent the unalterable and essential aspects of water. The green areas inside are the different parks of Paris: Jardin des Batignolles, Jardin du Luxembourg, Bois de Boulogne, Bois de Vincennes, Buttes Chaumont and even the iconic football stadium, the Parc des Princes is also represented in the 16th. As for the background symbols, small pink dots represent the festive nights places, blue for the official sides. We recognize certain iconic places of Paris: the Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower, the Trocadero, the Pyramid du Louvre, the Obelisk of the Concorde, the business district La Defense facing the Arc de Triomphe, the Champs Elysees represented by a blue line, the Paris Stock Exchange in the form of purse, the National Library of France (the original in the form of wavy features), the Invalides, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Montparnasse Tower, Buttes Chaumont, Bercy in the shape of a clover, the Palais des Congres, the museum of Orsay, the Pantheon, the Pompidou center, the Père Lachaise cemetery, the Opera house, the Batignolles cemetery, Montmartre, the Sacré Coeur, the Stade de France on the edge of Paris, Orly and Roissy airports depicted with flowers, the Paris Heliport, the Exhibition Grounds and famous places such as Republic and Nation. The blue dots across Paris represent the fountains of Paris. Few people know that there is spring water in Paris. The 17th and 20th serene atmosphere with water symbols and white dots to bring a timeless vibration ... For the 14th and 15th, I chose different symbols representing the architecture mixing the old and the new. The energy of the places translates in a particular symbolism. For the 13th, the yellow color symbolizes the Chinese community of Paris with 13 stars. The 19th is the African community represented here with their rich fabrics. The 16th is the elite and bourgeois side of Paris. The yellow flowers for the 15th symbolize the great minds that marked places, schools, administrations, museums, work in general. The drop of blood symbolizes the place of death of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette. The ones in the 11th represent the dead of Bastille. There’s also an elephant near Bastille. The Elephant fountain is a project that Emperor Napoleon has never succeeded to do so I wanted to do a tribute to this person who made Paris a must-see capital city. The straight lines crossing the wavy lines (11th and 16th) are spiritual energies also synonymous with infinity! In the 8th, we have the Palais de l’Elysee surrounded by 2 snakes representing money and power of the politics! The symbols in the form of silver stars represent pageantry and festivity, the golden and silver circles are money. To give a harmonious note, I chose to recall certain symbols from one district to another, the little human dancers represent movement and energie :) ... some symbols are enhanced with dots to give a more pronounced pigmentation and bring more vibes. Of course I could not put everything, I chose what I liked to represent by focusing on a drawing style that is simple yet paradoxically also complex because of its creativity. It took me a lot of time to realize the very first Paris painting, as I was painting, I was thinking about many places and famous people you want to talk about. Paris is a place so full of history and different energies ... This version is not the exact copy of the other Paris paintings, there have been small variations of colors, points and symbols. So it's like Paris ... Unique!
