ABOUT THE ARTWORK
A very figuratively painted capture of aspen trees. Full of varied color and very textured. This painting was done with palette knives and draws the viewer to want to touch, because of the heavy layering of color. I pondered for a good deal of time how to best execute this painting. How could I simply paint black, white and grey trees? Rather boring I believe. We've all seen them done that way too many times. There are many layers of paint and glazing to include a wide spectrum of colors. This piece is framed in a high gloss black shadow box giving it a very contemporary feel. Stunning! A certificate of authenticity will accompany this painting.
