Passage to another dimension Painting

Time and space are my primary preoccupation in this period of my artistic life. In my paintings there is no drawing as such, paintings are created with color, in broad brush strokes. Having been involved in fine arts my whole life, I gained the freedom to be in control of form, without enslaving the physical reality. My paintings don’t represent something from the physical, real world. They are purely profound expression of my contemplation of the eternal themes of time and space, free from any realistic outline. After many years of experimenting with formats and materials for my artistic expression, from coal to mosaic, oil and canvas have proven to be the materials in which I can express myself to the fullest. I chose a medium format, 80x80cm, which has enough space to provide me to swing in a painterly, artistic sense. It has a width for my temperament, and yet it is compact enough to fit in any ambience. Born 1956 in Belgrade. Member of the Serbian art Association (ULUS) since 1982.
