Art Description

Painting: Oil, Gesso, Gallery Vanish on Canvas.

The houses Peter paints represent people. They always have small windows as eyes and without doors to signify people’s need for privacy.

Two houses are characterized as lovers, with big and small houses as families, and many houses as relatives or friends to suggest people living in harmony. As lovers, one house is shadowing - protecting - the other as sign of willingness to sacrifice for love.

This painting is about two lovers. They have lots of sweet memories. Peter's job is to help them to preserve their precious memories. He has figured a way that no one has done before by painting rectangular shapes in the background to act as photo frames to frame the sweet memories, and by arranging them in the right order.
