Paysage avec un Pont (Copy after Picasso) Painting

Copy after a work of Picasso painted in 1909. The original picture is at the National Museum of Prague . This is a view of a Spanish village, Horta de San Juan in Catalonia, where Picasso made his first steps towards this new linear depiction of reality which was to be coined as Cubism but was largely inspired in the beginning by the works of Cézanne. As I worked after reproductions, my copy is more colorful than the original which apparently is a subdued mixture of browns where even the water is hardly distinguishable from the stones.
