It expresses the symbols of beauty and happiness based on flowers and women. With colorful colors, various symbolic figures of happiness are displayed as if they were spread out abundantly on the girl's head. The ideal world and happiness we dream of do not exist far away, but I would like to convey the message that they are already spread abundantly in my mental world and are waiting to be aware of it through the work. Flowers and girls appear main subjects in the works. The theme of "girl" in the work is an abstract meaning that implies "beauty," and it contains a symbolic meaning of beauty and happiness, such as flowers and birds, not a specific person. In psychology, it is known that self-formation takes place before teenagers, and the intrinsic self takes place in teenagers. Therefore, I wanted to capture this most important period of growing up as an adult, and in another sense, I wanted to contain a heart like a child who can enjoy the essential freedom and happiness of human beings. The dimension in which animals exist in the work means an ideal mental world. The mysterious and pure space already exists in our heads, and happiness is already in us. This image of thought unfolds abundantly on the girl's head. The girls who are full of beautiful nature are self-portraits that project the artist's own image, but they have different faces. At the same time, they have a mysterious, exotic, or oriental appearance, and take on the image of a girl with a red round face and small lips. The emotion that reflects the artist's own mind is expressed through the person's expression, posture, and eyes. The ideal world and happiness of dreaming do not exist far away, but are already abundantly spread in my mental world and are waiting for them to realize themselves through the character in the work.

South Korea
South Korea- born Australian artist, currently based in Seoul. "The early immigration period was difficult to communicate in the language, but the sense of isolation has driven me into creating art as another way of communication. Since then, art never left me." Since 2015, Eury moved back to Korea and started her art series that involves Korean poetic approach in fine art. The latest series contains flows and rhythms of Eastern art in the absorption of Western form, texture and colour. The artworks convey the world that may not be visible but the dreamlike imagery. The artist's recent works display a poetic space formed by fairytale-like natural environment and symbols with Korean traditional art approach, creating a hidden, mystic and dreamy atmosphere. In collaboration with her personal feelings, she recorded certain visual scenes that remembered from her dreams and imagination.
