Jamie Gray is an abstract artist, living and working in Denver CO. Gray has exhibited in galleries & art fairs in the U.K. & the U.S, had work commissioned for museum shops in London & Kansas City, had work included in hotel collections in NY & Miami, and sold to collectors in Australia, England, Europe, and the U.S.  “Jamie creates paintings that are both geometric and primordial” – Aurora Garrison, Saatchi Art Curator The artist’s work can be described as a novel mix of geometric abstraction, minimalist & nature-inspired motifs, hand-rendered pattern & texture, and craft-based techniques such as encaustic wax, woodworking, gilding & paper marbling. Gray studied photography and graphic design. The shapes I see in my environment — from pebbles to prairies, feathers to forests, mushrooms to mountains, crystals to clouds — provide me with a constant source of inspiration.
