Our residences, cities and worlds have been designed down the ages, and happen to be the topic of utopia. Today, we are living the dystopia of our utopia. Today cities are spaces of failed utopias and rising dystopias. Spaces of speed, unchecked growth, and reckless distribution. Freedom and happiness seem light years away; we are shut in our own worlds. And we are afraid. Which is why we take shelter in miniature boxes that look very much like eyes peering out at the world; the larger box of a city is far more frightening. A city is comprised of thousands of eyes all watching one another, monitoring then turning a blind eye.
