Perchance to dream Painting

Shakespeare, Hamlet (1602) "To sleep—perchance to dream..." For me this piece represents the dream state that we enter when you are in deep sleep. If we're lucky, the state envelops us as we drift through the experience unsure of our direction or what might happen next, some stages flow easily, some less so, but the journey return us, full circle, back to consciousness. It can seem like hours but be seconds in your time. Time is an illusion in this place and reality is suspended for a brief moment. My hope is that you can get lost in this image if only for a moment When I create my work I feel that the unconscious meets chance and I respond in that environment, and the resulting content flow's into consciousness.
