After completing a foundation course in art at Glasgow College of Commerce, she moved to California in 1990 where she studied art at Santa Monica Collage and California State University Long Beach. She now lives in the Santa Monica Mountains with her husband and two children. She continues to paint, explore, and learn from fellow artists.
