About The Artwork
Perpetual Encore is a series of paintings about the idea of using paint in a way that there is no reference to painting anymore, rather a reference to computerprint or photography. On the other hand we try and find ways of creating without concept. It is impossible to make unconscious art but this is an attempt in a way to use leftover parts of our studioprocess as starting point for this series. This painting is made by a combination of a specially prepared wooden board and a specific technique in airbrush.
