About The Artwork
Philip Mould is one of the UK's best-known art experts and dealers, specialising in portraiture. He is best known for his work on BBC's 'Antiques Roadshow' and 'Fake or Fortune?'. We got to know each other when BBC's 'Fake or Fortune' featured a painting by Edouard Vuillard that I own. The 'painting within the painting' here is a self-portrait by Sir Anthony van Dyck that Philip sold to the National Portrait Gallery.
