School art contests led to earning a BFA in dance and training at the renowned studios of Alvin Ailey and The Dance Theatre of Harlem, while always producing art in a variety of mediums. Heffner’s artwork is conceived through “bursts of visions he sees in his mind” while drawing inspiration from great artists, dancers, designers, fashion connoisseurs and musicians.
