I grew up with a single mother who no matter how overwhelmed she was she took time to bake with us. That baking became my association with love. Like most childhood attached to a moment where we feel loved, I memorized every detail and found myself drawn as an adult within my artistic journey duplicating the pieces of desert I made with my mom. This pop tart started off with a recycled wooden dipped into plaster made much like a cake batter before it dried. I then built upon the baked Pop tart with Acrylic Paint and Resin.
