I spend a lot of time with my Hopi, Apache, Navaho friends in the Southwest and I consider myself like a reporter. I like to paint the colorful Native American world and life in detail and respect to the different cultures alive in this country.

Franck Boistel, a native from France has been traveling in the American Southwest since 1992. A resident of Southern California since 1997 and recently relocated to Sedona, AZ, he appreciates and fell in love with the American southwest and its cultures. From Native Americans to Ranchers to locals that have been living there for a long time, Franck developed a deep understanding and knowledge of those different cultures throughout history, Archeology and simply spending time with the people of California, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah and Colorado. Franck is a natural and versatile Artist with a focus on contemporary Native American life in the American Southwest states. Franck spent time with Apache, Navahos, Hopis and Pueblo Natives since 1992. His art reflects the vivid colors and beauty of the People, the wildlife and the country they live in. Franck found an echo to his own French culture in Native American cultures: Respect of the Elders, a sense and knowledge of history and the necessity to protect the ancestral land, traditions and ways of the first people. Here is a sample of Franck’s artwork.
