This original watercolor painting is entitled "Precepts". The definition of Precepts is: 1). a commandment or direction given as a rule of action or conduct. 2). An injunction as to a moral conduct. - The feeling of this work is one of order, purpose, intent. Yet inside are unique, abstract shapes invoking movement, and individuality. Rather like our lives. For me personally, it would be living within my moral and spiritual code of conduct, while being free to make decisions and choices I feel guided to or bound by. - Overall size of the painting is 29" x 29"; floated (mounted on top of ) eggshell colored mat board ready for framing. - The actual watercolor painting is 22" x 22" painted on Fabriano 130 lb hot press watercolor paper. with 3.5" mat board showing on all four sides.
