There is a lot of comfort and hope that can be found walking along the beautiful sea shore... here you see a colorful abstraction of the beauty of the sea, the sky, the clouds.... 15x30 cm, watercolor, gouache, ink on paper. Signed on the back and Certificate of Authenticity. Comes unmounted with 30x40 cm mat, ready to be put in a 30x40 cm frame (see photo on the wooden surface). Unframed! The frames shown here are just examples what it could look like with a black or white frame and with different sizes. Just take it to the framers to discuss the best option for your home or ask me for advice! Would look great with grey, silver or golden frame. If you need a signed mat with a different or bigger size, please contact me to arrange the details. (c) 2019 Gesa Reuter, all rights reserved. Germany
Based in Germany, Gesa Reuter’s artistic practice started in 1996. She has since studied the techniques of the old Dutch masters, layering selfmade gouache, egg tempera and sometimes oil to build her paintings with different layers of paint from thin to thick. Recently she has discovered the power of watercolours and ink in her work, enjoying the way the watery materials leave marks and traces to describe her inner feelings and emotions. Rather than painting an accurate visual representation of a landscape, she prefers to use the power of memory; her artworks are an expression of her feelings and emotions in the moment of experiencing the landscape." (Inside Artists, Issue 9, Summer 2017) So far, her works have been exhibited in Germany and Europe, mainly sold to private collectors in Germany, U.S.A., UK, NL, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, to architects, small companies, private medical and psychological practices. In public collection of Amateras Foundation, Bulgaria, NHS England and Kunsthaus Stove, Germany.
