“Qtargets - message for peace” Painting

Enormous eyes are looking at us from the four-meter canvas. The artist painted them against a background of 216 paper targets with handwritten words of good and peace from representatives of different countries. He used acrylic translucent paints that do not hide the inscriptions, leaving the opportunity to read each of them, and also the epoxy to give a special moist glow to the image of the eyes. This picture is addressed to everyone and talks to everyone. The huge shining eyes of the color of sky and water look into the viewer’s soul with unconditional acceptance, trust and love. The transcendental size of these eyes, calmly contemplating everyone in the field of their attention, immediately reminds of the perception of a large transpersonal sense, a meaning that surpasses the scale of one human destiny. Whose eyes are looking at us? This is the image of a grand, unearthly beginning, whose name is “Love.” The picture could have been given the second title, “The World at the Sight of Love.” Its target, its main goal is people, all together and each individually. The magic of this glance, as if it is washed by tears, captures the attention of the viewer and keeps it. It doesn’t let you go, causing to stop, and then to approach the canvas. And here in the field of vision of the attracted person appear the paper targets with plain words about peace, written by people from different corners of the planet. At first visitors look for inscriptions from their native country, in familiar languages, but quickly realize the main thing - their similarity to other, unfamiliar people, regardless of their national, gender and age differences. And then imperceptibly becomes a significant transformation of the life experience, when each person first feels, and then accepts the unity with all mankind. After seeing the picture, people stand back with an elusively altered consciousness and another broader view of life and awareness of themselves as part of all humanity. Eyes are sensors that perceive the visible world and, at the same time, an indicator of human consciousness. In the picture “Qtargets - the message of peace” the eyes fulfill their main task to the full extent. They warm each viewer with love, trust and unconditional acceptance, lead to an understanding of the common interests of all people on the planet, uniting humanity with the light of awareness.
