Quoll with bullet rain, flannel flower and yam daisy Painting

Using realistic detailed painting, this work is inspired by images and objects from early Australian colonial natural history illustration and the native fauna of Australia. The Quoll was seen as a menace to poultry farms and eradicated from many areas. Artwork is painted on stretched canvas, varnished on front and sealed at back, with rear bracing and d-hooks and cord attached ready to hang. Edges are painted dark brown colour of rear-ground. Bullet shapes are added metallic silver-coloured leaf. Signature, year and title on back.
