ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Summer in Moscow can be pretty cold quite often. I have always enjoyed the aesthetic of rainy summer since I remember myself. Usually, my mother or father turned the music on in the car, like Duran Duran, Muse or Radiohead, so now I associate this music with this weather. I think that these days have their specific charm when the rain and the fog paint everything in cold calm greyish colors with no bright shadows and light. I used this size to demonstrate more grey sky and vertical subjects forming the cityscape. This artwork was painted with acrylic on the stretched canvas and finished with a protecting layer of varnish to keep colors safe from any damage. Signed and titled on the front. Ready to hang. This artwork will be sent stretched.

I was born in Moscow and spent my whole life here. I was raised learning about Russian Arts from my grandfather and then, when I was 8 y.o., I started my education in the State Tretyakov Gallery where I spent 8 years studying the history of arts and practicing in painting and drawing. It was an incredible time when I fell in love with the arts and decided that I would become an artist in the future. After that, I had individual lessons with extremely talented Russian old school artists for a couple of years to gain my skill and to be better in creating impressionistic landscapes. I had a classic art education as a professional restorer in the Moscow State Academy of Arts and Industry to become who I am right now. Nowadays, I teach art to people of different ages. I get inspired for my arts by nature and architecture; I want to share my emotions and feelings about these places and their unique atmosphere with other people.
