"In a dream, I watched you ride horse. Over the dry elds and then Dismount; you two walked together; In the dark, you had no shadows. But I felt them coming toward me Since at night they go anywhere, ey are their own masters. Look at me. You think I don ́t understand? What is the animal If not passage out of this life?" Born in Seville in 1975, he has always lived in a privileged environment for art since his mother was a painter and his grandfather traveled the landscapes of Spain by motorcycle painting watercolors. He has a degree in Architecture, has also has masters in Drawing and Painting, Film Directing, Graphic Design and Advertising and currently combines his artistic career with the University of Fine Arts. He believes that an artist’s learning never ends. His work has been exhibited worldwide from Tokyo and Salzburg to Madrid, Barcelona and of course Seville. This is from his personal series: Strata, where he combines bold brushtrokes, energy, layers of paint, calligraphy, and a process of transformation in time and space. His paintings are powerful and beautiful in person, with all the details and textures which are impossible to appreciate in a photography. For me life is a matter of time. In this world where we live so fast, so crazy, so full throttle, painting for me is stopping the hours in order to be myself. To capture my true nature, in what I believe the most: The now.
