I have always been struck by the multicolored bark of these typical Hawaiian trees. When painting this rainbow log with acrylic on canvas I used pumice stone to paint the soil that comes out between the roots, giving it more texture and impact.

I wanted to convey the emotions that its colors provoke in me and the fresh smell of its leaves and the earth that comes out between its roots. Bring this piece of nature to you like a breath of pure air that illuminates your surroundings with its colors.

Work exhibited at Art Fair, Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Málaga (Spain).

Unique and certified painting.Canvas on wooden frame ready to hang.

Hello! I am Celedonia Ramón, a Spanish visual artist who works and lives in Seville. I love experimenting with all the themes and techniques, although the ones I use most are acrylic and watercolor. Observing my works, what characterizes them the most are their contemporary style, light and the force of color that I express in them. I am inspired by human relationships, experiences, passion, all the beauty and energy of life. I think that there is already enough pain on the and I do not want to reflect it in my works. Looking around I always find a reason to paint, natural light in any open space, colors, which makes me feel certain music, a reading or movie that has impacted me or exhibitions of other paintings that I have seen. My intention is to leave a legacy of paintings that touch people’s lives , INSPIRING THEM, help them express their personality, improving their quality of life and their space. For me, art is like life: ”the expression of creative energy through me. It is to give back to the world the gift of creativity with self-knowledge, purpose and sense of unity ”. They are important to me: works with good technique, a process of I work that respects the environment, and that knows how to transmit the emotions that I have painted. The progress of my paintings (and myself) keeps me anxious to know where it will take me. I am always in “student mode”, experimenting. I really like to paint subjects related to the sea, because it makes me feel freer and more alive, it instinctively calls me, without having a special bond. I paint it in my studio, from my own travel photos, and other times outdoors. Normally I paint with natural light and I tend to be more concentrated in the mid-morning and mid-afternoon, so I take advantage of the hours when more light enters my studio. Depending on the size of the work and the technique to be used, I can take between 2 or 3 days if it is a large canvas,100 x 100 cm for example, or if it is watercolor on small or medium size paper, a day or two .
