This is the 9th painting in my blue series which focuses on the female form, in a monochromatic format of blue. Only the lips, nails and sometimes eyes are done in colors other than blue on the figures themselves. This piece speaks to the feeling of utter despair and isolation felt after a relationship ends suddenly and when one did not want it to. As with all my paintings, it is signed, gallery wrapped, the sides are painted, it's wired and ready to hang.
