A spectacular 1960-70s vintage inspired retro style string art cubist square shaped abstract on wooden panel painting by Jim Richards. Great colors with Tropical blue background with actual string and gold, silver, dark red, and deep violet colors. Painting is ready to hang in your home and comes complete with professional hanging wire and hooks installed. Painting is an acrylic on wooden panel measuring 24 X 24 inches with lovely 1 3/4 inch gallery style sides finished in Tropical blue color also. Piece has been varnished with a professional gloss finish UV resistant anti yellowing varnish. Signed within the actual paint by Jim Richards and dated 2019 lower right. Painting is also signed, titled, and dated on back also. Jim Richards studio seal is included on the back as pictured for authenticity.

I paint in what I call a "Future Abstract Expressionism" style. I am a mixed media artist often painting with neon, acrylic and spray paint. Action painting are one of the many techniques I utilize in my work. My influences come from pop art, street art, graffiti and abstract expressionist art styles. I am inspired by modern masters such as Yayoi Kusama, Damien Hirst , Jackson Pollack, Sam Francis, Helen Frankenthaler and William de Kooning.
