Rising Painting

This painting was inspired by a story of a man that was living a life full of struggles. He is rising above all the heartache and difficult moments and he sees a light coming from the sky,which represents the bright future.The sky is very dramatic and gives a feeling of a chaotic life and dark and bright moments.There are falling rocks,which represents all the problems falling on top of him and people that hurt him. You can see scratches on his legs from the long walk through his tough life and a wound on his back. On the right bottom corner are the red roses with thorns which represents the love and heartache in his life but also the beauty and hopeful future.
