Painting: Acrylic, Paint on Canvas.
Inspired by the disturbingly absurd behavior of our commander in chief, I’ve created a fictitious art gallery setting. Gallery patrons interact while viewing a pair of well-known Robert Crumb images as juxtaposed against a Trump "Despair" image that I've created based on Shepard Fairey’s famous Obama “Hope” poster.
This 40 W x 30 H painting is 100% acrylic paint on extra-heavy, triple gessoed, 10 oz canvas on professional 1.5 inch deep, gallery wrapped stretchers. The gallery wrap provides for clean edges with all staples concealed on the back. This piece is edge painted black to allow for hanging as-is, or you can have your preferred framing vendor frame this artwork in the style of your choice.
